About Rose

Our Farm

Closing the Loop

Rose’s regenerative farm in California’s Sierra Foothills allows us to become better stewards of the planet while increasing the scope of our ingredients.

Early soil work and mound building at the Rose Farm in Penn Valley Spring 2021.

Long considered unusable, this terrain already cultivates the majority of produce and herbs for all Rose releases.

Rose first harvest, Fall ’21. 265 plants across 21 strains from Biovortex and Purple City, grown from seed and clone.

Restoring the soil here to a lushness that generates more than it consumes, Rose believes, is a small but essential step towards becoming better stewards of our planet.

There’s another reason Rose is embarking on this journey: the fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers grown in Penn Valley will expand the team’s toolkit of flavors. Week to week, season by season, the farm will be a constant source of inspiration.

Ground cherries, tomatoes, different varieties of peppers, squash, eggplants and flowers planted in our garden to increase the diversity on our land.
